  • Dental nursing duties - cleaning, decontamination, supporting clinicians and patients Reception duties - booking, cancelling or amending appointments, taking payments, making and answering phone calls At least 1x full study day / week to do my online work

  • I really enjoy it, absolutely love dental nursing. The course is great and my assessor and tutor make the work engaging and easy to learn.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised, you go at a rough guide pace and then can discuss getting ahead and doing extra work to qualify sooner if you are in a position to do so. Work is spread out evenly so you aren't overwhelmed.

  • My employer are very supportive and let me have as much time where possible to complete work and qualify

  • Very supportive, we have online support calls to assess where I'm at and discuss any issues.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification and the role both help each other out. Practical things I have learnt may be backed up by the qualification, giving me more understanding of why we do things which makes the information stay in my head longer. Vice versa, things I learnt on my course can make it easier when learning the practical

  • I have found it very easy to learn with TempDent and enjoy the course I am on


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Tempdent – Dental Training Provider and Recruitment Agency?
  • Stay motivated and on top of your work. It will make it easier in the long run. Ideally get ahead and try to have large chunks of study time together instead of spread across the week. Set targets and deadlines for yourself and get a planner! This helps keep you organised and see what you need to do
