  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • It usually varies. In the mornings, I always check my emails for anything that I've missed the day before, then finish tasks (if I have any from the day before). If I have meetings for the day, I prep for those and afterwards I usually take/draft the minutes, sending them off to review. I also do a bit of work in Marketing and Cyber strategy, so I help out in those sectors as well.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I definitely improved on my digital skills, especially since I use Outlook and Excel on a daily basis. I use my Outlook calendar a lot for time management and to create reminders for myself. I also think that my soft skills, especially communication has improved because I communicate with clients through emails and meetings.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I definitely like the programme I am on and I feel the support that I get from my team is really well-balanced. Sometimes, work is a bit inconsistent so I can find myself doing nothing productive at times, but that is sometimes the nature of the job.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
