  • Opening the kitchen and prepping all fresh veg and defrosting the right amounts based on our prep and par list. Been able to read and cook checks to the customers needs and to company specification. Aswell as running the carvery.

  • I have learnt how to work better with the team, as poor communication leads to poor service. Aswell as safely cooking for customers with allergens.

  • Found the overall experience good as I have learnt alot and developed a better skill set but there have been times where I have found it difficult, and unpleasant.

  • Very well structured, and layed out very well, the course it's self is good way to learn with the e-learning and supportive with learning coaches but could be strenuouse at times with the learning load and work load.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Large amounts, my learning coach we had regular online and on site meetings helping me through any issues and supporting me through the course.

  • Very well, teaches you lots with relationships to the job and company specs but gives you a broader understanding of the whole industry.

  • Bring a positive attitude, a good work ethic and patience, it can be stressful when busy but don't let it get to you keep that positivity.
