  • Regular housekeeping audits, supporting the review of SOP's and documentation, organising archival of documents for site closure

  • Very enjoyable, learning new research and development techniques within the college program which has helped support my learning experience and development within the team

  • Good, college sessions are well structured and informative, always know what the next session will be in relation to so that you can prepare and review notes and reading material. Always on time

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Cogent skills are very hands on and approachable, always supportive and quick to respond to any queries in relation to current work as well as future prospects. Pfizer has been very helpful and supportive in providing learning experience and activities to boost knowledge and capabilities.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • CSR are very supportive, within the assignments the tutors are very quick to respond to any queries, provide supportive feedback and are helpful when it comes to providing referencing materials to use for assignments. They have also been very supportive with trying to find other placements in the case of the Pfizer shutdown

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The learning materials, input sessions and assignments are very well designed to support learning within the workplace, providing examples of how to implement what we have learned and offers support in trying to improve processes.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many groups on site within sandwich that help with networking with other teams, other students and other companies

  • Yes

  • So far throughout my apprenticeship Cogent have been very supportive and informative about different progressions, advice on improvement of skills, and are quick to respond with helpful information. They are very hands on with liaising with learning providers where needed and setting up helpful meetings to improve professional development.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Cogent Skills Limited?
  • Ensure you research the company that Cogent is liaising with for the apprenticeship and find out information about the role and progression afterwards, interview questions can be very specific to the role and company so being prepared is always best.
