    • I currently work as an assistant QS and manage costs and value on several jobs.

    • I am learning a few topics and being able to use them in the class and the workspace

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I do enjoy it but I don’t enjoy the amount of travel involved but it’s what I signed up tor

    • Yes I would say so only thing they could be improved would be having a stable timetable but I am aware that this is hard as we are block release

    • Almost none I receive more from the college than they do

    • Could not ask for more

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • With the regular meetings we have and the real life examples given I feel it massively improves my role

    • Not really just the occasional work drink but it’s hard as I work over 80miles away from my home

    • Yes

    • I have suggested this apprenticeship to my family because I feel it is a great opportunity for someone to get started in the industry

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAM?

    • Make sure that you go to Leeds for uni and college they couldn’t be more supportive
