  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed being on this programme so far as it has widened my knowledge on the construction industry and I have had many training opportunities both online and in-person alongside my day to day tasks as an apprentice project manager.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very well organised with set dates for training sessions and ensures regular catch-ups to make sure that you are staying on track.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer and am able always able to balance my uni work alongside my day to day responsibilities.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from my training provider with reviews every 3 months with my Uni Outcomes Officer and my line manager to go through my progress in the past quarter and to answer any queries I have, as well as always being able to reach the necessary people when i need extra help.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The work I do towards my qualification helps with my role as a project manager as it helps to widen my knowledge on project management as well as other aspects and roles within the construction industry in order to aid my understanding of all that is involved in construction.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • The company is very keen for us to join onto the networking teams that are available at Mace to help us get to know more like-minded people outside of our project teams, and will occasionally put on social activities over Christmas celebrations etc.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I feel like I am able to get the support that I need while working towards my qualification at Mace, and have had a lot of exposure to the project that I am on, pushing me to the best of my abilities and taking me out of my comfort zone in order to improve.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace?
  • - To make sure that you organise your time efficiently - to be willing to take on new tasks and expand your knowledge - To take the time when you first join to get a full understanding of your project
