1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Currently work as a commercial assistant in the Birmingham Office as part of the Mace-Dragados joint venture. Starting in September 2023 as an apprentice, I hope to gain the relevant knowledge and experience to aid the commercial team on delivering service excellence to their wide range of clients on his project. My day- to day role includes meeting clients, managing subcontractors and attending media events to gain the relevant experience for my role.

I have develop my communication skills and my ability to learn and retain new information to enable me to perform my role to my best ability.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme is extremely well structured and allows me to enjoy the role while developing my skills and knowledge externally, meeting new people with similar interests.

A lot of support that targets my role and skills to help me develop further.

My qualification is relevant and allows me to perform my daily tasks and helps me to grow within my role.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is volunteering and lots of social events in Birmingham from nights out and days out, to networking events to help further develop.

Understand your role and the demands of the role for the interview stage, and always try and show initiative, no question is a wrong question.
