  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a trainee dental nurse who assists along side a dentist day to day and support of patients. I work alongside an implantologist, orthodontic therapist and a cosmetic dentist. It is my job to ensure patient care is sustained throughout all treatment and patients are treated with respect and their needs are valued.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed skills such as working under pressure. Dealing with difficult situations and coming to a resolution for this. I also manage my time well inbetween setting up and cleaning down for patients and am I very punctual individual when it comes to attending work on time.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am extremely passionate about my job I enjoy meeting new people, tackling challenges and working against the clock.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My apprenticeship is extremely organised, my assessor is always up to date with my course work and booking me onto zoom calls to discuss my progess.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I recieve a lot of support from my assessor and my practice manager.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My assessor is extremely supportive during my apprenticeship. She always is contacting me to update me on my progess the work I need to do and if I have any questions she is always open to answering them and helping me when I’m struggling.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe my assessor has pushed me to succeed and progress through out my apprenticeship by always being interactive over zoom calls, constantly marking my work and telling me where I done well and areas to improve on.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Aspiration Training Ltd to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Aspiration are extremely put together and are a welcoming training provider, aspiration are easy to contact over any queries you may have. Also they push to submit your work to city and guilds to be marked by the IQA so you can sit your end point assessment. I have recommended to three of my friends who are interested in coming a dental nurse


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aspiration Training Ltd?
  • I would give them advise to stick with aspiration as they are extremely supportive throughout your full qualification.
