Customising an existing application for the client. Interacting with the client, reviewing requirements, refining requirements, designing solutions, leading teams and mentoring other IBMers

new skills: java, node.js and python skills, as well as platform engineering skills developed: mentoring and leadership, customer skills, maths skills, academic English skills

Very much, I have flexibility to change roles and choose what I would like to do

Very well, We known from the beginning what modules are going to be completed and when

Sufficient, they are always approachable and answer questions without giving away the answers

Learnt about many other aspects of IT that I wouldn't have come across otherwise

All the time, it is a huge company and the teams, departments, office location organise networking and socialising activities

IBM provided me with the training, and knowledge and supported me during challenging times. I have a great manager who is always trying to make my life easier

Do not be shy and talk about your skills. It is not bragging, it is just promoting yourself
