  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is to help ensure the day to day operations of the store go as smoothly as possible by ensuring that all stock is put out properly, keeping the store and warehouse tidy, and making sure customers get quick and friendly service.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme is good and gives you all the necessary skills needed, however, it helps to have a good team that support you through the apprenticeship otherwise it would make it much less enjoyable.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is well organised with it being in different blocks based on a different topic. One block may cover body language when talking to customers, whilst the next topic talks about the marketing mix. It makes it easier being split out into blocks for online training.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Aldi to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It’s fast paced so you rarely have a slow day, the pay is much better than any other retailer and if you put in the effort it goes from just being a job to having the potential for a career with the company. On top of all of that, the people you work with are supportive and welcoming.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • Don’t apply assuming it will be an easy job putting out stock, it’s a fast paced environment and no two days are the same. Expect it to be challenging and be willing to put in the work. If you can do all that then you’ll fit right in.
