  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My induction was very well organised as I knew exactly what was in store for me. I had training on tills and other tasks and support when I needed it. I have a store assistant work book which has all the necessary information to help me become one of the best. I have meetings with an assessor from the Wirral met college who comes in store and gives me advice and help on what I need to do and what I am doing well with. They also give me assessments such as questions which I need to go and research and come back with the answers. I am given tasks such as to work bread or produce for example.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • For an apprenticeship it is a reasonable wage considering most of them pay a lot less and also I know it will increase yearly which is good. From personal point of view however as I run a car I do struggle at times to pay for the running costs. However if I was not living at home I wouldn't be able to manage.
