  • I'm a store manager so my role can be quite varied, dealing with large teams of 100+. My role involves budget planning, commercial decisions, stock ordering, HR, people & culture, strategy, rolling out central initiatives & projects.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, so many new skills. My coaching has really levelled up, I haven't finished my course yet but already have a much better understanding of what good coaching looks like and how I can use it in my role.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme, I find the course content interesting and the delivery varied with 1-2-1 sessions, online workshops and digital self paced content. I like the flexibility of the content and being able to come back to things later if I want more time to process the information etc.

  • Seems to be well organised although I have nothing to compare it to.

  • My employer supports me as much as they need to, but the ownership really sits with myself to make the time for my learning.

  • As much as I need, and I know I can reach out to my learning coach whenever needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think it has made me a much better coach, and ultimately a better leader. I feel more competent in my coaching skills and can use them to get the most out of our people.

  • Not really

  • Great supportive work environment, it's fast paced and can be hard at times, but it's also exciting.
