  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme has been hard work, but overall I have found it to be very satisfying and enjoyable. Not just the learning of the new skills but the new relationships built with my coachees on the way. Also I have really enjoyed working with the rest of the cohort and learning from others.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme structure is reasonably well organised however there were moments early on where the tools that the provider use were confusing to understand and not very intuitive, this led to a bit of frustration. We also found that our development coaches were not always very available. But the materials supplied were always of good quality.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received plenty of support from my employer, there were supporting of the programme and keen to understand progress and how they could help. They also sought feedback on what I was learning and were always keen to learn more about what I was doing. Equally any blockers that came up they helped remove.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Early on in the programme there were some frustrations around the support from the training provider and found that our development coaches were not always very available or responsive to emails. This resulted in a change of coach about half way through the programme in what i assume was an attempt to distribute the load to others so that we could get the support needed.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Sadly since covid there have not been many extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work. However there are some self-organised events that happen here and there between teams etc. Equally there are professional events that we can attend where we can network with others and learn new ideas.

  • 9a. Would you recommend NTT to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have had a 17 year career and NTT and started as a technical support analyst and am now a departmental director. NTT has supported my career every step of the way and encouraged my growth through stretching me outside of my comfort zone. We have an exciting transformation underway now and a chance to be part of something exciting.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NTT?
  • Tips or advice I would give to others applying to NTT would be to stay honest to yourself and value and ensure that NTT's values and purpose aligns. The transformation journey will not be easy and therefore you need to really buy into why it's important - otherwise it will be frustrating.
