  • My role is predominantly the one point of contact for Ford fleet operations within Motus Commercials Daily tasks include liaising with manufacturer business managers to secure and validate customer terms and forecast for quarterly registration targets. Keeping a continuous line of communication with the Fleet sales managers with regards to new orders and updates on existing orders - this also means I have to be up to date with latest industry and internal news to be able to share this with the team and answer any questions. Oversee and instruct fleet administration to invoice and register new vehicles. Monitoring length of time vehicles are in stock from delivery to dealer and ensuring all are delivered in a timely manner to ensure minimal financial impact to the business. Oversee the coordination of vehicle preparation through to delivery of 100-170 vehicles per month. Ensure as a franchise that we achieve the quarterly FRPA target, through close monitoring of vehicles in transit and stock to ensure smooth preparation process and create reports to forecast. Manage relationships with convertor partners to ensure quickest and most thorough build schedule to be able to communicate progress to both customers and Ford business contacts.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme was thoroughly enjoyable. The only stress came when the course paired with my full time responsibilities at work became quite intense at points. However, my tutor and both my employer recognised the strain and did everything they could to ease the workload and make it manageable. My Manager was more than happy to give me time to complete the coursework as he saw that its benefit to the company, and my progress in the long run. He along with my tutor wad always available to help with any questions and queries I had.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Really well organised from start to finish. We knew exactly when our 4 hour online lectures were every month in the diary for the year so we could plan around this. If we had important commitments on these dates or annual leave our tutor would send all materials across that we had missed that day and follow up with a 1-1 discussion to ensure we understood all of it. Everything was thorough and structured which helped. The tutor set "deadlines" and although officially work didn't need to be in on that date, it helped the work load throughout the year to avoid having too much to do at once. The tutor was also very helpful with 1-1's to help us catch up if we fell slightly behind.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I felt like there was definitely support available from my employer. My manager knew how much work the course entailed so understood if we needed to take time away from daily duties to complete. Our HR/training department did a really good job communicating this with everyone to ensure we all felt supported

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Huge amount of support from LSP - I couldn't thank my tutor enough for the endless amount of not only support but the words of belief and motivation when at points I didn't feel like I could do it! I completed my Maths as well as the leadership and management course, and my tutor supported me with both with extra 1-1's not just the monthly lecture.
