  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Helping to provide our workshop with parts for their jobs, parts availability and ordering. Also help customers with queries and completing email / over the phone orders.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've learnt new skills in customer service. I've also learnt how to manage time in busy environments, this is due to having high work load with people needing to be served quickly and correctly, with mistakes being minimal.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Work place is really friendly , you always have someone near that you can ask questions if you are unsure on something, there are also people available to speak to about home/personal life too. Everyone is very approachable and easy to talk to

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The way Motus has dealt with the apprenticeship has been very professional and easy to work with, you will be given time to complete work and help can be provided. However the actual college (remit) haven't been as easy to follow, making it actually confusing on their part

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • As much support as I require, and it is always available

    9/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We get reviews every few months to talk about how we are doing. They have recently put into place assignment submissions where we spend a day doing work that we are behind on and submitted it to keep caught up with everything

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • What I am taught hasn't helped with my work at all, the course is supply chain and I am doing parts. I could however tell you everything you need to know about transporting different food types whether this be hot or cold, they also taught us stuff that only my managers manager would need to do, for example forecasting, that not even my manager gets involved in

    2/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes Motus are always offering activities, these could be dress down days, fancy dress days, prize giveaway competitions and charity days

    10/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend MOTUS Commercials to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Friendly place with easy to work with colleagues who offer good programs to give back to employees

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MOTUS Commercials?
  • Be your self and don't be afraid to ask for help
