  • Ice cream Innovation- I am a project manager/ lead in Marketing, where I manage and oversee Renovation or Innovations of new products, from start to launch in the market. I work with cross functional teams to make sure it is delivered on time in full.

  • Yes- Highly grown in confidence and my presentation skills, able to lead meetings and have better communication and organisational skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It has unlocked amazing opportunities and experiences, day events in London, travelling to Rotterdam, social events and seeing Ice cream factorys and the R&D centre. I have highly enjoyed the experience.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well structured, great communication with your line manager, Multiverse coach so you can balance your workload and have enough time allocated to each. There is regular communication with your coach to keep on top of the course and preparation for the exams.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received huge amounts of support, my line manager was understanding of my workload and allowed me to prioritise time for revision near my exams, as long as you have advanced warning and planning for your job role so it doesn't affect it.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Great support, monthly meetings and one to ones, and they are always available via a quick email, I received extra guidance and help when I needed it.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification went perfectly hand in hand with my role, as my course was project management, and my on the job role was project managing/ leading innovations/ renovations in Ice cream, so I could transfer the skills I learned into my day job perfectly.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, in your work team there are social events throughout the year for your team to get to know each other and build a better more efficient working environment. I think there are sports teams, I know there was a charity football match between offices as well. Multiverse also hold networking events

  • It is a great company to work for, as its focus is their employees wellbeing and creating a happy, productive workforce with amazing goals in sustainability and helping the planet. They put their employees first and want to make sure everyone has a healthy, enjoyable experience working.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • Research the company and get to know their goals and targets for sustainability, and all their brands achievements. Definitely apply and be yourself, they look for who you are as a person to fit into the world of Unilever.
