  • 9a. Would you recommend NHS to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It depends - Yes if the person wanted the same qualification (and understood what the role entails), however, I would council them regarding the intensity of training plus subsequent type of work and workload. I could not do the job without the support of my cohort colleagues.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
  • Before applying, be clear on the intensity of the training, the additional hours over and above the work you do within service and the university contact. Also, understand what the role entails, particularly regarding patient level of risk - acuity of patients verses service remit (they don't always match).
