  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Scoping and design of upcoming changes to the ATS system & recruitment website. This involves working closely with suppliers and stakeholders, tracking costs, reviewing requests and testing upcoming changes. I also build new roles into the ATS, update salaries in the ATS and on the recruitment website when required, alongside various ad hoc tasks.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure has been clear from day one and I had a clear plan of when I would complete each module and then move into my exam and EPA. I have regular reviews with my tutor and we make plans for tasks I need to complete before the next review, to ensure I stay on track.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have monthly reviews with my tutor and before completing my exam, I attended a monthly webinar for 3 hours where we covered the previous module before completing practice exam questions. I now have monthly EPA calls with my tutor where we review my progress with the EPA documents and work towards completing these ready for the EPA.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification helps me structure my role in a more project focused way and I can use the knowledge gained in my apprenticeship, to implement new ideas and more structure in my day to day role. The qualification also helps with my understanding of project lifecycles while working with various teams.

  • There are lots of opportunities to get involved in team activities to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, for example walking the 3 peaks, sports days, baking competitions, team lunches, dress down days, annual team building days, annual wider team strategy days and the teams can recommend activities which they'd like to do to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
