  • I manage two integral systems relating to paying and managing suppliers in the UKI business. I also own the responsibility of a project relating to our operations with socially inclusive suppliers. I have built a strong internal and external network through conversations, meetings, projects and events.

  • Yes. Built confidence, presenting skills, communication and teamwork.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love having both Uni and work combined. I have also thoroughly enjoyed meetings loads of people from different departments, brands and functions.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Having work Monday - Thusday and uni on Friday means the programme is extremely structured and becomes a routine.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot. We have our line managers as well as a dedicated person to young talent in HR for further support. We are also all very close as an apprentice community to support our peers

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • It has been good - there are a range of contacts at the University for different queries and support needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Work and Uni are both very linked. Theory and learning supports me in understanding work operations, strategy and communications.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have a young talent community called "NextGen" which organises sports teams, socials, networking and learning sessions!

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a great, fun, modern and supportive company to work for. Apprenticeships are now a very established programme and are great for both development and fun.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to L'Oreal?
  • Learn about the brands. There are so many which all have different priorities, goals and needs.
