  • Collaborating with supply chain teams to ensure the SQL server I manage is meeting business needs and working efficiently and correctly. Providing training across all of Operations UKI on an SQL platform used by all Operations teams.

  • Yes! From soft skills to business specific skills. Such as ; MS tools (Excel , Word , Power point) , SQL , Power Bi , Python. Additionally; Networking , public speaking , organisation , delegation.

  • Best decision I have ever made, Doing a DA rather than traditional University has given me such a diverse skill set and opened far more doors than I could ever of thought.

  • My team is extremely understanding and helpful with my study days and always offer support when needed.

  • You have to be a self motivated person to do a programme such as this as you are given a lot of responsibility and its up to you to seek out help.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I learn much more from my role at L'Oreal than I do from university , however some modules allow you to research topics that are relevant to your role and can be implemented.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes a lot , i head up the social committee at L'Oreal for interns and apprentices. We have a lot of guest speakers , networking opposites and team days.

  • Yes

  • 100%, this is a fantastic company with people being the core focus of the business. No matter what type of person you are and what your background is there is a role for you!


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to L'Oreal?
  • Be yourself! Although its cliché is absolutely true. Be flexible and open to learning whilst showing a interest in current affairs and the beauty market will go along way. Passion is key.
