I lead a team within the learning and development departments. We deliver in-house courses to staff, engage with schools at career events, promote apprenticeship opportunities for staff and prospective staff along with contracting and evaluating programmes and we deliver pre-employment programmes to those looking to work as a HCA in the NHS.
I have learnt a number of new skills and theories that i can put into place within the department.
Teaching sessions have been very engaging and the support from the tutors is very professional.
Very well organised including study days to ensure people get protected time away from work.
My employer is very supportive.
Great support provided.
I've only been on the apprenticeship 5 months and I have already implemented new things into the workplace to improve things.
