My role entails of: -billing our clients -moving money between accounts -working on Investments/disinvestments -quarterly reports -admin tasks -producing monthly valuation statements
The ability to speak with confidence and a vast improvement in my presentation skills. Also learning how to work with different kinds of people.
In terms of learning, I feel it was great. Fitch was great and Aon have been of great support
It started off very structed however I feel towards the end of my programme I could've had a bit more support preparing for my end point assessment
Aon have been great helping me when I need and always checking in on my wellbeing
Fitch was great towards my Investment management certificate and there isn't more they could have done. On reflection, perhaps more of a mentor figure who I could ask technical questions to.
Especailly unit 2 of the Investment management certificate applies quite well to my role. I understand now about teh regulation involved in the financial services industry and the thinking behind an investment.
There is some events that go on occasionally and is definitely improving with time. There are sports teams but there isn't much mention of them and therefore its hard to know what exactly there is out there.
Yes
Aon is a very inclusive place and I couldn't be at a more supportive place for my career development
- You don't need to know everything after day 1 (not even after 1 year or 2 years) -Try and step out of your comfort zone
