  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Partnering with stakeholders to drive learning initiatives. Creating learning solutions. Delivering workshops, from inductions to self development. Partnering with other departments to ensure their work is delivered in the most effective way

    8/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I’ve learnt to ask more questions during meetings. I now prepare ahead of meetings to ensure I can be at my best and most effective during them. I also think more about the learner experience whenever diagnosing solutions

    8/10

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • This varies. In the whole I enjoy my programme as I’m getting the chance to learn more and develop more skills to be at my best. There are times when the volume can be challenging

    8/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Aptem allows it to be structured and keep me on track. I get regular communication from my coach too

    8/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive plenty of support. My line manager attends progress reviews and actively asks how I’m getting on.

    9/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My coach is the person who inspires the most and works hard to go above and beyond to deliver. From Lifetime itself, I would say this experience is mixed

    7/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel it helps a lot. It brings in new ways of thinking to develop me and make me think differently. I can see how I am handling things differently

    8/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I am field based so don’t often see office based extra curricular activities.

    5/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend Greene King to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Our culture is changing for the better and I am given the freedom to work how I want to and be myself

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greene King?
  • Do it! If you value the right culture within a business, then Greene King is for you
