Set to complete 3 annual rotations within the wider finance function of the UK’s largest manufacturing business. Alongside completing 3 years of academic study part-time. (AAT level 2, AAT level 3 and AAT level 4.) The finance department offers every range of accounting/finance role including both management and financial accounting as well as specialised areas such as tax and audit.
Familiarisation with general finance softwares, including sap, business objects, race. the ability to build professional relationships and grow in a competitive company.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the company, but unfortunately the pay was not competitive with market standards and I struggled to support myself financially throughout in terms of travel expenses.
The programme was well structured and is a good opportunity, but only for the local area as pay is not good enough to support travel from up to an hour away.
