  • I work in Learning and development so on any given day I may be facilitating training, coaching individuals or teams, designing learning solutions, communicating our L&D offering or connecting with the business to understand their needs.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Completing the apprenticeship has supported me in stepping up to a more senior role. It’s encouraged me to be more strategic in my thinking and consider how I partner with the business and my stakeholders to make a difference.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The L7 apprenticeship has been challenging in a good way! It can be hard to balance with the day job, but the support from Nestle and from my Line Manager has been fantastic!

  • My programme is very well structured so I always know where I am and what to expect

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support from our apprenticeship Manager, my Line Manager and other colleagues also going through the same programme has been fantastic!

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • There wasn’t a lot of support at the start but 5 months in and now I have a mentor through my training provider who I connect with regularly, a live class for each module and a team I can go to with queries.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification is stretching me to think more strategically and apply that in my day job.

  • Numerous networks including things like Mental Health champions, Nestle Pride etc.
