  • Project management of ECO schemes. Managing contractors and delivery of energy efficient measures into eligible households. I work with contractors to resolve compliance fails and ensure the projects are completed within required timeframes

  • Yes, learned a lot more about PM techniques and methodologies and how to apply them to my role.

  • It's a great opportunity to study for a degree whilst working and the skills/behaviour/knowledge will help with my own development and hopefully career advancement

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is fairly well organised, often the workshops/sessions can feel a little unstructured and unprepared so I find I am doing a lot of my own research too

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I get a lot of support from my line manager and senior managers in my area. I am allowed the time to work on my DA and support with managing my day-to-day activities.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have the standard workshops and sessions but as previously stated, I feel I do a lot of the research for my assignments myself. My skills coach is very detailed though.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It will definitely help. My career goal is to be in a PM role within the next 2 years, so the skills/knowledge gained will definitely support this

  • Yes - Lots of networks around diversity & inclusion as well as professional and personal networking events

  • Yes

  • It's a great employer with fantastic employee benefits. Very competitive salaries and I love the ethos and vision of the company


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON?
  • Be yourself and enjoy what you do. Make the most of all the learning opportunities available, We don't always get it right but we work hard to fix the things that don't work. Communication is key.
