  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Both! My Apprenticeship taught me how to treat staff members in order for them to perform at their very best, whilst also enjoying their job! These are skills in which were formed throughout the course of my apprenticeship but led to the development of already existing skills e.g. communication

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my Apprenticeship! The chance to be mentored by Industry Leading Managers are few and far between meaning I was in a very fortunate position at a young age Everyone has the same goal within Aldi, which makes the Team Work side of the job even more enjoyable

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very. I had monthly reviews with my Direct Leader to discuss progress and bi-monthly reviews with my Personnel Leader to discuss career progression and to receive feedback from a Senior Manager I also had regular communication with my Training Provider, often attending Masterclasses to further develop myself as a Leader

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Support from my Training Provider was constant - monthly updates to discuss theory work and often Masterclasses to build on skills that can not only be used within a Warehouse Management capacity, but also beyond

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The theory work was directly linked to my day to day role. For example, I undertook a Masterclass on 'How to build a successful Team', this was commonly utilised when inducting a new member of staff to the Department / Warehouse etc.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • During Masterclasses, I often met others within the Industry, both internal and external to Aldi. This was a huge benefit as Aldi is constantly looking for ways to improve meaning any info I had picked up from others within the industry, may be applicable to my Department to improve
