  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Currently I work in the Social Media team within the Brand & Marketing department. My day to day involves the creation of social media posts for all the E.ON channels. This sees me creating the end-to-end process from the actual content to writing the copy, then sending this off for approvals and finally posting it out. It can also involve dealing with budgets and boosting posts.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The Future Leaders Degree Apprentice Scheme programme offers me experience in any department I want through taking 6 month placements over 4 years. I have complete free will to choose where I go and is often encouraged to do completely different jobs that I wouldn't consider doing to find out what I like and don't like. This gives me the chance to develop skills where else I wouldn't have otherwise.

  • It is very well structured into the six month placements, however it also comes with enough flexibility to start or finish these early if you find better opportunities or are getting no more benefit of a current placement. there is a vast support network in place to help you through your time here as well .
