  • My role as an Emergency Department Admin Team Leader is to oversee and manage the admin side of the daily operational running of an Emergency Department.

  • The structure could benefit from a review. It is organised, however, communication needs improving.

  • I have been assigned an internal mentor for the duration of my apprenticeship and where possible, allocated time to do my work.

  • 50/50. Support could be improved. There are times where there is too much work assigned, and unrealistic deadlines set for my work environment which can cause stress and pressure to achieve.
