  • Yes - I have learnt new operational management theories and practical skills.

  • The course provides new theoretical knowledge that helps cement and improve skills and knowledge I previously had.

  • Well organised. My tutor is very good and carries out regular review meetings with me. The bud system is relatively straight forward to use and good for task organisation.

  • I receive support where i need it. For the most part, the learning is independent reading/studying.

  • I receive a lot of support as and when I need it, from my tutor.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It gives me more confidence in my knowledge and skills and I am sure will help me in any future roles.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Nothing formal at my sites level, but there are informal activities between colleagues. In the wider E.ON world there are various clubs and societies.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The area of E.ON I work in is a very good place to work. The sites are interesting and challenging and the management teams very approachable and supporting.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON?
  • For the technical aspects, make sure you do the research on the business area you are applying for - demonstrating understanding of this goes a long way. Make sure answers in interviews regarding experience are relevant towards the role.
