  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme! I find that everyone is so supportive and willing to help with anything I want to go over and progress with. I’ve learnt so much from starting the apprenticeship and it has been great to network with the tutors and other apprentices that went through the same thing.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is really structured. Every other week we had our training session and in advance we were fully aware of what we were going to learn in the sessions. I love that we have a dedicated development coach where we have regular contact with and they provide so much support in making sure we are staying on track with everything.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have received an incredible amount of support. They were fully aware of the apprenticeship tasks I needed to complete and always made sure I had time to complete everything and making sure I was okay. On a personal level, they have been supportive in making sure that my mental health and well-being have been alright and offering me advice on how to manage the apprenticeship tasks alongside my general workplace tasks.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that it helps me perform better through providing me with the skills and tools needed for the industry I’m in. The sessions taught by the tutors have really helped me to develop my skills and being able to apply them practically in the workplace has been really beneficial.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are lots of extra curricular activities to get involved in. I was invited to lead a singing group so I’ve been involved with that but I know there is a running club, dungeons and dragons club, opportunities to be involved with the social committee alongside regular activities such as Yoga or dog walking!

  • 9a. Would you recommend The Juice Academy to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • The Juice Academy has allowed me to enter a career in the digital industry and provided me with the skills and knowledge to continue to progress! I’ve seen how it’s positively benefitted many other apprentices who have now gone on to do incredible things within their careers, including becoming managers or even owning their own businesses.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The Juice Academy?
  • I would say to be yourself in the application process and also to think outside the box. Creativity is key in this industry so make sure to let it be known about your creative abilities and mindset. I would also say for people to keep their mind open about what company they go for, don’t be disheartened if it’s a company you weren’t expecting… once you’re in the industry, you’re in so learn as much as you can and you can move to a company that satisfies your interest at a later date as you’ll be incredibly employable after finishing your apprenticeship.
