  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I read and organise incoming emails and mail and process this to the correct person to handle. I take calls and assist people with any payroll queries or concerns they may have. I take part in meetings to ensure good teamwork and organise spreadsheets to help with day to day tasks.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I've brushed up my English and maths skills. As well as this, I've familiarised myself with different IT programs and gained confidence in this. I feel more confident preparing a spreadsheet and see how this will be useful in my role. I've learned how to interact with others too.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • No structure is perfect but so far I'm happy in my role and I have plenty to do. I can ask for help if needed and see progression. If I'm struggling I know who to ask and how to overcome any situation that's new as I can ask others

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification goes hand in hand with my job role. The skills I'm learning merge brilliantly with my on duty work. Maths English and IT are basics yes but extremely important in an office environment. I'm happy to have help developing these skills and already I can see the value

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are a lot of extra curricular actives to engage in and take part of. I've reached out to equality and diversity, chaplaincy, waste management and been able to gain insight and advise. The interwoven family culture is really reassuring and lovely to be a part of. Despite being new, I feel I belong
