  • PQA are a nightmare, but everything else makes up for them.

  • BPP go above and beyond to ensure we are confident to pass before entering an exam. If additional support is required then we are given a work coach to support us.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification provides greater context and background knowledge that is required to do the work. It also supports professional competence to improve one’s engagement with clients.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is plenty to do at KPMG. Social events are a regular for different colleagues across regions to reconnect; There are sports clubs such as football, bouldering, running etc. There is also a company gym in the London office. The E grades get together quite regularly to do activities around town and there are social team gatherings once a month, every Thursday.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The culture of the firm are brilliant. Everyone is so friendly and easy to get along with. There is a nature of family and trust when you join KPMG. You are not just another number on record. You are treated as an individual and your voice is always heard across the different levels of the team. The team are so encouraging and understanding. They will all do there best to support you where they can and provide their expertise when required. There is plenty to do and a vast range of projects to get involved and learn from. You are given responsibility on day one. The social life with KPMG is also another bonus. They provide amazing work-life balance and the plenty of social activities to participate in. You’ll be in an environment on continuous learning and growth opportunities. There is a lot of trust placed on us and its our responsibility to uphold that trust.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to KPMG?
  • Just be yourself. Look at the values of KPMG and see how well you fit in line with those values. KPMG values integrity, intellectual curiosity and the ability to work together to drive change. Tell your story. What makes you, you. Highlight your success and also the places where you can improve. What makes you want to join KPMG? And where do you see yourself in the next 5-10 years ? (Hopefully still with KPMG! :D)
