  • Identifying the root cause of issues within products from the service, determining an effective solution - validating the new design through compliance with relevant testing and compliance. Co-ordinating the implement of the fix into production, monitoring its fix effectiveness and creating preventative measures in order to design/test out the failure.

  • 7-Step Problem solving process - RCA, FTA IDFMEA, Pugh Matrix tools all leveraged. General project management, communication and presentation skills. Different leadership styles and conflict management techniques.

  • Quite well, it was alot of work and sometimes difficult to learn without the opportunites to apply leadership techniques.

  • Quite well, assessment heavy - little opportunity to workshop/try out skills without much leadership opportunity.

  • Alot - adequate time and support, encouragement of the scheme and skills developed and also recognition for completion.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Alot of support from the tutor, good enthusiasm and engagement. Broke it down piece by piece to make it more manageable.

  • It has provided me awareness to good theories and techniques.

  • Some networking events are available - social events less so.
