When in the office i also help around the office with the printing for the letters which can't be sent digitally.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • i have developed lots of skills in this new role and it being my first job it has given me a great insight into what the working world is like. I have developed a good phone voice and ability to communicate in a calm and professional manner which was something i had never had to do previously. I have learnt lots about pensions and scheme specific rules also. I have developed my determination and i realise how important that work is done on time and to a high standard.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme has a good structure between workload, apprenticeship and examinations. I am allocated 3.5 hours a week dedicated to studying and preparing for my upcoming examinations, i am also allocated 25% of my working week, which works out to one day a week, to my apprenticeship work, meaning the rest of my week is spent developing myself in my role. Sometimes i do find myself a bit overwhelemd but for the most part the structure is not an issue

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification gives me confidence that i am able to do the work that is put out in front of me. If i ever struggle i remember that i have worked extremely hard to get this qualification and role, and that it was not just handed to me. It also gives me that stability knowing that i am qualified to do my job.
