  • I work on reports and research which help answer the questions of policy colleagues and ministers contributing to the decisions made within government. This most often means working with large data sets and producing informative reproducible outputs through data analysis software and code.

  • I have gained invaluable experience as an analyst on key issues that effect the whole UK.

  • I receive a great deal of support from my employer. The ministry is more generous with study days than the norm and gives ample opportunity for learning and growth.

  • My qualification gives me the expertise and knowledge that i need to develop my understanding of economics in wider government policy and helps to inform how i can apply these wider practices to my own work.

  • Yes

  • As a mature student, i have worked in a variety of jobs before this apprenticeship, and never before have i felt more valued or supported as an employee.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Ministry of Justice?
  • Show them that you are interested in the work done by the ministry, and explain your wider interest in economics.
