  • My role involves a breadth of different opportunities to work on different projects and with different competency teams, engaging and collaborating in order to solve our clients' problems

  • My skills have developed and improved no end through this platform, namely my technical Excel skillset and the competencies of teaming, communication and leadership

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed every minute of my role on the apprenticeship programme to date, I feel like there are so many aspects that I have bettered myself in, learning from not just myself but those around me with a wealth of experience

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well structured, in terms of what is covered and expected within each of the four years and this was clearly outlined right at the start. The support mechanisms are additionally in place so that any difficulties or queries are resolved immediately.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a great deal of support from my employer throughout the programme, with regular check in sessions and engagement from my seniors who monitor that everything is running and progressing as it should, as well as people to leverage experience from who have been through this process before

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Again, a great deal of support. The check-ins are regular in both the examination and portfolio aspects of the programme in terms of content and it is made clear through your designated talent coach someone who you can reach out to at any time

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification that I am working towards is directly applicable to the job role that I am in, not only in a knowledge sense in which I have expanded my ability to talk to these topical matters with my colleagues and clients alike but also practically.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many side-of-desk and extra-curricular opportunities to get involved in. Namely for me this has been the football team, the CSR work and my team's newsletter. I have also been trying to aid the cause of bringing the future of Financial Services AI into the firm.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a fantastic company to work for which fosters a really welcoming and collaborative working environment which focuses on your development and provides endless opportunities in order to do this. They are also rooted in very strong morals and values and produces only the highest quality of service


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • To be yourself, to go into the job with an open mind and to take all opportunities that come your way because the sky is the limit and opportunities for development are endless
