  • Independently performing a range of diagnostic cardiac investigations

    9/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Always developing new skills and fully enjoying and benefitting from my time in work

    10/10

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The in work aspects are perfect. The programme content in university is odd and doesn’t necessarily feel relevant to what skills I need in work

    4/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • In work I follow a well organised and structured programme. The university side of things needs some work and with some forward planning and communication probably would be much better for all apprentices

    5/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am well supported in my work place and always have mentors available for any questions, queries and support

    10/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • MMU provide adequate training for what is needed to pass exams and assignments but again this can feel irrelevant to what skills I should be developing to benefit my roles and employer

    5/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Up to know I feel little programme content has been particularly beneficial, however I know the modules in the next few years will be massively useful

    5/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are opportunities but I rarely participate

    7/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend NHS to a friend?

  • 9b. Why?
  • Wonderful working environment with constant support and stimulation

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
  • To find and role which will stimulate you and you enjoy. Then use all resources available to develop your skills
