  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed my program greatly, as it has helped me grow on a professional level and also as an individual. The learning provider has provided great support alongside my employer during the pandemic. My experiences through this program have further enhanced my willingness and eagerness to continue working for Sage after the program is completed.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is very well organised as the college worked with me at the start of the program and my line manager to identify a plan in how to approach the course and what to achieve first. The amount of classroom and remote learning has been ideal and flexible during the pandemic.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have received a great amount of support, especially with my exam prep as I had difficulty in passing the exam initially. My tutor was also great in providing support when I had personal issues outside of the programme which began to affect my training. Also the support for portfolio evidence was on par to the support I received for exam preparation.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that the qualification that I will acquire on course completion will provide a solid foundation for my job role and also for career progression at Sage. It has provided new skills and also improved my pre existing skills that will be used on a day to day basis.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are several opportunities throughout the calendar year to get involved in extra curricular activities whether they be social, team or as part of the charity work that Sage does. I have not come across any sports teams or participated in networking events but I feel that the sporting extra curricular is within Sage but yet to come across.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Sage to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have not worked in a working environment like the one I experience at Sage regardless of the professions I have worked in. The company provides excellent support to their staff whether it is personal or professional and the opportunities to progress within Sage are superb. I still feel that Sage has a lot more to offer me as an employee and I am excited to see how my career and life improves whilst working for Sage.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sage?
  • I would say to be yourself and show initiative in the application progress. I have been told and found out first hand from my application process that showing willingness to learn alongside your day to day work gives a great impression to your peers and managers within Sage. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions if you make the interview process.
