  • Opening the pub. Have to do tills. Check emails and action them. Team brief What the booking is for the day. What the sales level we expecting. Do we have a staff for that level. Do team in the kitchen ready for service. Do we have all safe and leagal paperwork done.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned how to coach the team. By asking the right question we can get right information to help them to progress in they development. What support I can give them to get to where they want to be. One to one to see where they up to and how they will fill

  • This program will give me opportunity to progress in my development and I power me with supporting my team to make fab place to work and we can make sure that we always have the development of the team right in front of your mind to bring the team moral

  • My Gm is making sure that I have a time put on the rota for completing course in timely manner. We have conversations about how I can apply what I lear to work please. We have a chats on what I fell comfortable with and where I need more support

  • We getting time for me to focusing to train the team. We have dedication on what needs we have for the business. Haw we can develop the team. What we can put in place the structure for my development and a team development. I run one to one with team leaders

  • We getting webenars to give us a information what we need. We have a skills days where we can practice what we have learned and share ideas. We have one to one with our tutor also we can call him if we stack or have questions. Also he will update us on progress we making

  • I have learned that sometimes by analysis of your performance you can influence performance of the team. Give me more confidence. Knowledge how to deal with deferent situations and how to deal with deferent members of team in individual way. Also give me right tools for my role. Teams one to ones. Development

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • At the moment we have no plans for them because we have not much of the team but as soon as we get the full set of the team we will be planning to get team building days out also planning to have couple of clubs organised so team can take a part in them

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It’s good place to work. Company with a long history. Range of the businesses to sute deferent taste. Also good training programs are progression. We have soo many wonderful stories that you can get from potwash strait to the top if you work hard and put time and effort to learn and develop


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greene King?
  • Don’t worry to ask questions about what you can get when you working in Greene king. What progress do you want to have what training you can get. Also sometimes you may want to work in couple of different sites to find what sute you better in terms of do you like sports or maybe table service or have a family atmosphere
