  • Checking all accounts are correct for guests, answering any queries and complaints and directing to the relevant department. Answering phonecalls, assisting other staff members, checking all reports are correct and completing the handover checklist.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed my IT skills by using OnQ. Also, my communication skills have improved when talking to guests and other colleagues. My confidence has improved due to the knowledge I have gained within my job role.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love the learning aspect of the programme and being in an industry that is constantly changing and working with other people and having face to face interactions with the guests.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The studying is well structured to the timeframe and the training through the my life and regular meeting with my trainer are helpful.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I feel more supported over the last few weeks since having a meeting with my manager and HR, in some ways the way the team is at Euston there isn't much of a supervisor role offered, so a lot of it is still apprenticeship supervisor but real time receptionist.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have received a lot of support across all trainers from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]. Also for my end point assessment last year the assessor was helpful to ease nerves before the exams.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As stated previously at Euston there isn't much of a supervisor role, but knowing more of the job and the industry I work in has helped through doing my apprenticeship.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The benefits you get from the company and it being so worldwide and a well known name. The company is a brilliant company as a whole.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Hilton?
  • Go for it. It is helpful to read up about the hotel beforehand to gain as much knowledge aswell. Reread everything that they ask of you. Explore other hotels within the brand to see things that are going well and things that are not at your own hotel and report back and knowledge you come across.
