  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am rotating around departments, doing 6 months in sales, marketing, CDT and supply chain and then deciding where I would like to spend my final year. Currently an eBusiness new strategic projects manager, I research quick commerce opportunities for Nestle and have began on boarding customers.

  • I've developed many skills such as: Communication Networking People management Sales Skills Creativity and Marketing Skills

  • I thoroughly enjoy the programme

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is structured very well for the most part, the only downside I can see is the lack of communication between the academy and line managers. Line managers seem to be unaware that we should get time in the working week dedicated to uni work and it can sometimes be uncomfortable asking for this.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We do receive a lot of support from Nestle, but as previously stated it would be better if the communication with line managers about allocated uni time was better, as many people are not given the time they are entitled to

  • We receive a good amount of support

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Being honest, I don't think the qualification has a huge impact on helping me perform in my day to day role

  • There are lots of networking opportunities within Nestle. such as events, team dinners etc

  • They really value us as employees offering excellent benefits and support. It's also a great opportunity to work in such a huge company where you can really tailor your own career path.
