  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a health care support worker in the community. My job role is mainly base on providing clinical care to patients such as wound dressing and some subcut injections to patients in theor own home. We also promotw indepence within our care so patients is able to take care of own needs on a daily basis. We work with a multi disciplinary team directly through our line manager who allocate and supervise us .

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I am currently undergoing a RNDA apprentice course through my trust at solent University where I am constantly learning new skills through the placements that have been set up for nursing students

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I took this cause on as I love a challenge and expand my knowledge in nursing care or carring for our patients also learning new skills. As a nursing student or qualified nurse I believe ther eis always something you learn everyday

  • I will rate my program good . Maybe some structures or how things are being organised may need improvement . Overall I am happy and love being on this program

  • My employer is supportive and always there when I need help or talk about any concerns I may have

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider is very supportive. I love how they ingage with the student showing their support and just wants a good healthy balance of which we always get reminded off the importance keeping a healthy balance for good outcome in becoming an excellent nirse in the future

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Very well . I had learn so much this far into my program and is exited to expand my knowledge and skills even more in the next 3 to 4 years

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes but too be honest I do not have time to ingage in any of these although I would love too. Like everyone else life can get very busy specially when you running a household too . Apart from my responsibilties as a student I am a mum and wife too and they also depend on me to be present in their lifes

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I believe the nhs have and has always been the a pilla of support with our health and wellbeing ... On a daily basis I see the changes the NHS provide to the public the hard work and dedication it have in seeing to all patients health needs . We are very lucky and bless to have a NHS


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
  • Opportunity is endless... I am proud to be part of the NHS team staff providing change and better health to all indivuals that need caring or interventions with their health
