  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have achieved a distinction in my Level 3 leadership qualification whilst in this role. I've learnt loads of new skills and theories which have helped me achieve more in my Leader role, i'm working smarter now because of what i've learned. I'm more organised. We moved to an agile way of working in my company and my role changed from a traditional Leader role to a Change Lead role and i'm so thankful the apprentiship started up again when it did because I could put all of the problem solving and project planning into practice and 100% used FUSE and my Development coach Sue to help me understand the theories and models that could help me in different scenarios.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • This programme has been tough but really rewarding. Everything i have learn has helped me in my job. I've been able to pass on my learnings to people i work with as well which has been great for our team and our performance but also how we feel overall. The programme exceeded my expectations

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • When I 1st started the induction and my 1st Development coach didn't really explain what and how it was i was going to achieve the programme. It would have been good to get the whole overview and then break it down. Also the need of a CPD was not explained either. Also a lot of support sessions were cancelled When we came back from COVID i had a new Development Coach who really apped everything out for me. FUSE is fab, the 121 sessions were great and I used my CPD better. The programme is well organised depending on the people facilitating it

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I was allowed time when i needed it, but it was very hands off, I didn't feel my line manager at the time had much interest in the programme but if i asked for anything i got hat i needed which was a good experience. The company in general, L&D and HR are very supportive

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My Development Coach [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] (the 2nd coach) was great. We met up once a month and she gave me clear expectations on what to work towards for my next sessions, she was always available via email adhoc if i needed it. She was friendly and approachable and really wanted me to succeed. I thoroughly enjoyed our sessions together

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It was a godsend as my companies way of working changed to Agile and my role went froma traditional team leader to a Change Lead which I had very little to no experiance with. The programme went through change management, project management and theories and i was able to put these into practice and use what i learnt in my day to day role and ask for advice about it too, I definitely owe my successes in work to my learning

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There used to be, it's not as much since Covid, we have book clubs and things like that. When i'm outside work i use the time to catch up with family and friends and go for walks.
