  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme very much. I have one day a week in which I use to do my academic work but with the other four days in the week I am on the job learning lots of new skills I would never be learning from university alone. I enjoy having new tasks to do daily as it challenges me.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well organised. I have a line manager who constantly helps me with my work and gives me structure and challenges me. The university side is well structured as I know what I need to do each week and it is well planned out and easy to understand.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The university course helps me understand my job role better. As it is a chemistry degree it helps me understand the chemistry behind the bonds within the hair and the chemistry behind the products used on the hair. It also helped me understand how equipment should be used and looked after properly.
