I lead a team of carers to ensure a high level of care is provided to service users. I provide support to colleagues and service users and try to ensure that everyone’s concerns are dealt with promptly. I have a mixed role that includes office/admin work and providing care.
I am currently learning all the time. I feel I do have good knowledge of what i need to be doing to ensure I am meeting my job role description. I do feel that no matter what job role you work in there is always room to learn and grow
I have been on a six month break due to having lots to complete in my Kobe role, which meant I did not have to study. I have only just restarted my programme, so far I am enjoying it and look forward to learning new skills to help me within my role.
The programme is well structured I receive emails to arrange review dates that suit me, I also find reschseduling due to a busy work schedule is easily accommodated. I do sometimes feel a bit confused with the way some of the work to complete is set. I know if I need support it is there.
My employer is very supportive and is willing to move my work schedule around to help me fit in study time. I feel very supported and encouraged to grow with my current job role. I know if I need help with work I don’t understand my employer will help me to understand this.
I feel I am supported by my training provider. Although some of the ways experience us scored I’m not sure I would agree with. I feel In my role I should be scoring high on things such as empathy, however I was told it needed to score low to begin with to show improvement.
I feel my qualification is helping to really concentrate on certain aspects of my role. It is making look deeper into meaning and different ways of working to ensure I am supporting service users and support workers. So far I have found it to be very beneficial to my current role.
No we don’t not currently have anything like this. However the company had kit long opened the island branch so maybe in the future there may be a chance of them arranging som social activities for staff. I’m sure this would be listened to if suggested by staff.
Yes
I have found Nobilis to be very supportive employers. They push me to reach my goals. When taking in the job role I had been a support worker for 8 years so had a lot of skills essential for my job, however I hadn’t had a managerial Top role before. I was made to feel That I more than capable and any support I needed would be provided.
I would say to ensure you are coming into the role for the right reasons. You really do need to be a caring person to work with the care sector. If you feel you are tight for the role then Nobilis us a great company to work and grow with.
