Personal care, medication and making refreshments/meals.
I've become more attentive to how I provide care to our customers. Shadowing certain colleagues and listening during training has helped understand certain medical practices.
Very enjoyable and my tutor has been great
Very nicely structured by my tutor.
My employer has been really understanding
Before my tutor sets my tasks she explains the task so I know exactly what I need to do.
Very relevant, this really helps me because I'm a solo worker and without this I wouldn't receive as much training
Additional training and activities are provided for professional and social development.
Yes
It's hard work, but very rewarding and there is a lot of opportunities to develop.
Make sure you really want to provide care to get the full benefits from the job.
