  • My day to day is opening the pub managing a team doing the tills plus pre shift brief for the whole team. Making sure everyone is happy and also know what I want from them within my work day Team is always great and make my day better when we all have a lovely shift.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • My programme started off really rocky as I was always working loads of hours but then I got passed on to a new trainer who was called [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] and he called and introduced himself via phone call then meet face to face the week later. We started going through what I needed to do and then my program started properly from then. I enjoyed all the times we met up to calls via teams [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] always seemed to cheer me up if I have ever had a bad day

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Programme was organised well and [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] came and helped me out lots if I ever was stuck he would always help out when and if he could. I deffo wouldn’t fault the programme and would recommend everyone of my team To all join up and start something new for themselves

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] gave me the best support and I think I will always keep in contact with him as he was always a helping hand for me and wouldn’t see me upset or stressed through work he would always give me time to have a little rant and then we would start with work again.   • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I received support from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] from start to finish and he was very supportive with me as I have been doing this for a little longer than expected due to Covid and other issues within my life and [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] always made time to help me and give me enough support to keep going

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think I have deffo learnt something new within doing my training online and doing new exams I didn’t think was possible but with the help from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] he made me believe in myself which was good as I always have doubted myself and never thought I could do this but I have now thanks to [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We don’t really have much to join in here we will be setting new events up within the pub and hopefully get everyone involved We offer a great team and a family at the end of it

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Greeneking is welcoming and at the end of work you always have a family within your team and a place we’re you’ll be happy and meet new people all the time


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greene King?
  • Ask for a pay rise before the end to make sure you get it
