  • Managing different bid process to win new opportunities, with the experience of being a junior project manager.

  • PMO - Understanding the fundamental part of consultancy Bids - Understanding Sales in more depth Marketing - What goes into making marketing material Project Management - Learn all the skills needed to manage different teams to deliver the project.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme is challenging experience as there are many different components to juggle, however there is plenty of support provided to work through this. I enjoy the ability to learn things and put into practice on a real project.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Overall it is well structured and I feel in some ways it become slightly more organised since covid-19 due to an increase of communication. Within the Cohort there will be a STAR who can voice any updates to the rest of peers and lectures.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There are plenty of support, you will receive a mentor, buddy, line manager and have access to the mental first aid group who will be able to support you through the 3 year course.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • There is plenty of support available but you have to be willing to ask and be clear with what support is needed as everyone during the course will need different support. You have more days off in the final year to support with the increase work load.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It supports your fundamental knowledge as you are aware of good industry standards but work will give you the ability to strength the skills you are learning.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • CGI have the Sports Social Club, where there will plenty of events organised which is free or heavily subsided for CGI members. - Involves Silent disco at the shard, ASCOT racecourse etc. Football, yoga, pizza night, game night and self-defense are more examples of activities you can get involved in.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Great company to start you career within, as you have lots of supports network and buddies who have been through the experience to assist you .You are able to move around the company trying different roles to further grow your knowledge. Overall the benefit package is a great bonus.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
  • Read the mission statement, core values and use these within your interview. Do you research into CGI and if you can attend the open days to see if the environment works for you too. Get some questions prepared to ask at the interview.
