  • 9a. Would you recommend CGI to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Everyone makes you feel welcome in the community of CGI. People are always there to help and give you as much support as they can. Coming from a student point of view, doing a degree apprenticeship within a business like CGI really develops your skills a lot better than what i think University would, as you get to know what working within a proper, sophisticated workplace is about and you also are getting paid for learning and working at the same time. CGI also is a good place for expanding your own community and social skills, as they offer a lot of social activities that you can get to know people and increase any confidence.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
  • Never be afraid to ask questions, no question is a silly one, the more questions the better. Always be yourself, as that is the best way to be when meeting new people and colleagues. Attend as many social events as you can, as CGI sports and social club is a great place to explore at what fun activities you could be getting up to with fellow members, at a discounted price too! Even if you don't feel confident enough in yourself to get up in front of people, just talk to as many members of CGI as you can as they are all very friendly and it ensures you have a good network around you.
